Baler Day Tour – Part 2, What to do in Baler?

It was 10am when we reached Brgy. Ditumabo, the house of the Mother Falls more known as Ditumabo falls.  We forgot that most trippers were held indoor as well yesterday by the bad weather, so it was then that everyone was at the waterfalls.  We took a trike to the main jump-off which was filled earlier on.  We trekked for nearly an hour by the river crossing bamboo bridges, rivers and streams.  It was fun and the kiddos were loving it.

We left Ditumabo at 12noon and stilled packed with high vim, no plans for meals yet… We proceeded to Balete Park, another famed landmark of Baler.  With the kiddos along, we wandered under the giant tree.  Surprisingly, no spooky feel or maybe the 3^rd sight was in deep snooze.

We finally settled for lunch at 3pm and how else best but by Baler’s buffet… We binge to Jerry’s buffet like hungry ogres deprived for ages… LOL.

It was past 4pm when we left the feast and back to the lively we.  But before our last stop, we passed by the Baler landmark and Museo Baler.

As the saying goes, a visit to Baler is not complete without a ride with the wave… Yep, we had our ride with bellies still bursting from the recent meal.

We took turns with the board while the young fellow watched us from the side.

Baler earned a mark in our hearts.  One of the provinces we love to visit again.  Until next time…
