BOHOL - CEBU TRIP
Day
1
We
left Manila at about 1230pm and arrived at Tagbiliran at about 145pm. We passed by Payag restaurant for our late
lunch then headed straight to Panglao Island - Dumaluan Beach Resort where we checked in for the
night. We originally reserved for a
deluxe room but unfortunately I failed to make a confirmation so I lost the
slot. Thankfully there was still an
executive family room and we grabbed it immediately. What's best is that we were given the online discounted rates which was far below their rack rates. For best rates around Panglao, check this link.
We
spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the pool and the beach. We also hired a habalhabal to visit the
nearby Alona beaches. After dinner, we dipped for a while to enjoy the lukewarm seawater then had a short “socials” for a good night sleep.
Day

After
breakfast we checked out early for our Bohol tour. To save time, we brought our luggages
so we can go straight to the ferry terminal for the trip to Cebu. We
hired a car to bring us around the attractions of Bohol. Thanks to our accommodating tour guide driver we saw and experienced the best of Bohol.
- Met the tarsier up close and personal
- A jump shot at the forest park
- Atop the viewpoint of the scenic chocolate hills
- Visited the beautiful butterfly garden
- Experienced crossing the hanging wooden bridge
- Cruised the Loboc River with a buffet lunch
- Visited Baclayon church
- A walk back in time at the Blood Compact Shrine
- A quick souvenir shopping
Then at 4pm we were onboard Supercat for Cebu and arrived 2 hours thereafter. We sat at the end of the ferry to
have a better appreciation of the calm sea as we sail. For more details of
Tagbilaran to Cebu ferries visit Tagbilaran Ferry website.

Day

At Cebu, we visited the Basilica, the Cross, the Fort and the Temple. For lunch, we had CNT lechon and for our loots, we had dangit and dried mangoes at Taboan Market [the market offers more variety and options at a cheaper price than those sold at malls]. After Cebu, we had a spa in Mactan while waiting for our flight back to Manila.
