At 730am we arrived at Lake Lahit just in time before the lotus plants conceals its beautiful flower.  Should we made it last night as originally planned, a banka ride for the lotus blossom display was one of the early morning agenda.  Anyways, catching it afar was already a blessing for now.

Before our breakfast, we asked our habal-habal driver to drop by at Maria of Sikat Learning Center just beside the T’boli School.  Her kind assistance guided us dearly in our unexpected Koronadal stay.  We wanted to personally extend our thanks and offer some treats in return.  Also a glimpse of the homestay can momentarily ease the foregone night at the tiboli house due to yesterday’s flight delays.  Well, there’s always next time…

After Sikat, our driver offered Punta Isla Lake Resort for our breakfast.  The rocky ride to the resort was compensated by the beautiful flowers surrounding the area.  While hubby was waiting for our order, I was busy capturing the different wonder that filled me that early.  It was a bonus attraction for me and an indication of the beautiful Lake Sebu tour ahead.

It was already 9am when we left the resort and the next destination was Lang Dulay’s house and weaving school.  Lang Dulay is a renowned national living treasure and already at her late 80’s as a t’nalak or tibolo cloth weaver.  Hubby was so amazed by the handicraft that we bought some for home.  He imagined already framing it with our picture of Lang Dulay.  It was my first to meet a national artist and a memento of her artwork was a treasure by chance.

On our way back, the overwhelming Lang Dulay encounter had engrossed me so much that I failed to capture Lake Sehoton as we passed by.  I humbly acknowledged that this trip was way above my expectations.  As we near the seven lakes, my excitement was way way up high.  Like the earlier Punta Isla and Lang Dulay visit, all thumbs up for the Seven Falls.  The zipline ride 600 feet above at a speed of about 20 meters per second (according to Ziplinerider.com) was a great way to end our short half day Lake Sebu trip.  More of Seven Falls story here>>>
