In Transit from Davao City to Enchanted River and Sibadan Fish Cage in Hinatuan
We arrived at Davao at exactly 9pm and
shortly after, we joined the Mt. Apo climber’s party bash. Then at 230am, we took the Hinatuan-bound bus
at Ecoland Terminal. It was already noontime
when we reached Hinatuan the following day. At the Hinatuan terminal we
chartered a habalhabal to Enchanted River; it took us nearly 30 minutes and
wilder than our prior Tinuy-an falls ride.
We had bliss at Enchanted River where we lingered until 4pm. We witnessed the fish feeding but the rain however foiled the clear view.
The Agaton storm slowly made its way with relentless
downpour but we managed to cross the Sibadan Fish Cage for our overnight stay.
With the storm, we were restrained in our
rooms. As we were on stilts, we can feel
the wave underneath and its swayish beat.
Before the night progresses, a fever caught me and I was obliged to retire.
I felt helpless as I trembled with the rocking
waves getting intense. I prayed that
the fever be gone soon. The hard part of
travelling took its toll – unwanted illness, far from home and in the middle of a
storm.
