PAGADIAN CITY TOUR
It was already past
2pm when we dropped by at Sto. NiƱo Cathedral Parish to start our Pagadian
stroll.
After the church, we headed to the Rotonda for a top view of Fajares Ave. and Pagadian Bay. Horseback riding is available at the Rotonda Park but with time against us, we even skipped climbing the top of Rotonda tower.
Our main Pagadian must-visit was Mt. Palpalan and Pulacan Waterfalls… Hiking mountains and chasing waterfalls, whenever possible, always tops our must-do list. Despite differing localities of Palpalan and Pulacan, we managed to visit both.
After consuming
more than 2 hours for Mt. Palpalan and Pulacan Waterfalls, we were back at the
city proper. The long tricycle ride with
hips pressed tightly on my belly implied the need for diet and exercise. Or maybe, Pagadian tricycle designs are not
ideal for bellyful person like me. Hahaha!
At the city proper,
we finished off the rest on our list, the City Hall, the Rizal Park and Plaza
Luz.
It was past 8:00pm
when we went out for dinner. We checked for
nearby not-so-pricey restaurants but found none so we ended up at Jepoy’s
Grill. We were the only costumer that
time, maybe too early for the weekend gimmick.
But nonetheless, the music of bossanova band as we dine was a great
complement to our Pagadian visit.
