LUCBAN, QUEZON ROADTRIP [PAHIYAS 2012]
LUCBAN PAHIYAS FESTIVAL 2012
We visited Lucban in its
celebration of Year 2012 Pahiyas Festival.
We left the Metro before 7am via Rizal-Laguna-Quezon route and after a 3-1/2
motorbike ride we reached Lucban.
On our way, we had a quick stop at Pagsanjan Church, had a quick bite of the roadside Bibingka before the Louisiana town and quick glimpse of a parade before we reached the Lucban proper. The sight of Mts. Banahaw and Cristobal as we near Lucban reminded me of the challenging treks and the beautiful memories of our climbs -- looking forward to summit this giants again.
