THE YEAR THAT WAS… OUR YEAR 2014 TRAVEL HIGHLIGHTS…

We opened the year with an amazing race adventure that even typhoon Agaton failed to hinder…

In my page’s post, I borrowed the quote from the great discoverer of all time:
"The sea is dangerous and its storms terrible, but these obstacles have never been sufficient reason to remain ashore... - Ferdinand Magellan

THE JOURNEY TO OUR FOURTEEN YEARS...

We’re a mismatch in most aspect… name it and we’ve been through it. To sum us up, we’re the exact opposite of the other – from viewpoints, to Ms. Slow and he’s so Mr. Fast, even to the food preferences, to music, to sports and so on… that’s just a preview of the 14 years or so of being together.

Arguments and disagreements, beyond the tally point already.   With some points of “okay fine, see you at the airport” or “okay fine I’ll go alone” or “I can manage to travel alone” to countless sleeps with backs-turned… well, it was all part of our couplehood.

The Year That Was.... 2013

2013 for us was a year of great adventures and escapes with 25 Philippine provinces visited/revisited, chased 20 waterfalls, had 13 hikes including the Mt. Kinabalu climb, relaxed in 7 beaches/resorts, and an exceptional Kota Kinabalu-Brunei trip.

Year 2013 reminded me that….

But still, my 13 for 2013 best cherished escapades were:

OUR SHARE OF 2013 SUMMER

A visit to the renowned Pagsanjan Falls was the official kick-off of our 2013 summer.  It has always been in our “must visit” list but budget restricted us until hubby found a way through the verticals of Cavinti.

The succeeding weekends of March were filled with adventure of different kinds including a trip to river, mountain, waterfalls, cove and islands.

LOOKING BACK AT YEAR 2012
